Now is the Time to Learn Homesteading Activities

With the scary state of the world today we all need to be more self sufficient …

Do you know enough about growing and raising your own fresh, healthy foods?
What about storing them long term?
Ever wanted to build your own home with your own two hands (and end up with no mortgage payment)?
Are you interested in off-grid energy alternatives?
Can you make things you need from scratch, or fix them?
What about taking care of and protecting yourself and your family?
Are you prepared for even a small catastrophe?
What would you do without your phone?

If you’re not ready, homesteading classes are important for you.

Why Learn Homesteading Activities?

My why…

Homesteading means peace

A couple of years ago, we bought some land, and built our own house ourselves.

What started out as simply wanting privacy, and the tranquility that comes with living in the country, became something different. The world started changing fast, and stability started to dwindle.

What started out as “wanting some privacy,” suddenly made a turn, and I now feel a sense of urgency to somehow take care of my family without relying on anyone around me. I realize that we need to become strong, and brave enough to take life by the horns with both hands.

The State of America

Here in America, we now have issues with
• the economy
• a recession that could easily become a depression
• supply chain issues,
• and more craziness (like censorship and a two-tiered just system) than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime

We could be getting to a point where we can no longer rely on anything or anyone to help us. And, especially our government, who seems to be bought and paid for, or compromised in some way, and don’t actually give a hoot about WE THE PEOPLE. We have no choice. It’s time to save ourselves.

Homesteading means freedom

What if SHTF?

My new goal is to help people, including myself and my family, become more self-sufficient. But, when I ask myself, with everything going on in the world, what if S actually hits TF? How are you going to deal with that?

Do I know enough about growing and raising my own fresh, healthy foods and storing them for the future, building, cooking, and making things I need from scratch, and taking care of and protecting myself and my family? Currently… the answer is NO!

Are you in the same powerless position?

Feeling stuck buying expensive, unhealthy foods with preservatives?
Running out of foods and other items, then finding low quantities or none at all on store shelves?
Having your purchases of foods such as meats rationed; meats that are full of antibiotics and fattened on corn that causes diabetes?
Using prescription drugs that just cause other illnesses and a cycle of more drugs?
Having to rely on your energy company to provide energy for you when they’re able?
Paying too much for all your energy needs?
Paying for water to your home that is contaminated with fluoride and other chemicals?
Do you ever worry about running out of water?

Think You’re Too Old for Homesteading?

Think you’re too old or not physically strong enough to learn homesteading activities? The truth is, homesteading activities are not really difficult or even strenuous. And, most will keep you more in-shape than you would be otherwise.

Only Have a Backyard?

If you feel you are stuck in your current house situation and your backyard is too small for a garden or to keep any type of farm animal, you may be less stuck than you think! You will learn ideas for growing your own food in a small space, and the rules around keeping some animals for food in your neighborhood.

You can really do so much in your current situation. And, you can get to know others in your area that can provide items you are unable to produce, and you can work together to help each other.

If you’re not sure you can do this, the question is, how can you NOT learn homesteading activities for your family?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been able to accomplish so many great things in your life because you’re pretty smart. This step toward self-sufficiency is a no-brainer. So, people who have been preparing for the world to become this difficult have a leg-up on us all.

Once you have taken a few homesteading classes, you can become that person that your friends and extended family look to for advice about how to take care of your home and family in the smartest ways.
